The pictorial adventure Ambroggio De Luca in the Art Car was created almost by accident. Dedicated himself to painting as a boy, decided to paint for a passionate collector and a cousin of his car. The painting liked a lot, not only the recipient of the context and so began a new path of its activities, that has combined with his passion for vintage cars. The first subjects were mostly Jaguar, among his favorite cars. From the technical point of view he chose, initially, l'olio your web, classic and traditional than those usually used by members of the Art Car. His brushwork is visible, matter, able to convey the speed and movement. In his paintings De Ambroggio tries to respect the verosomiglianza, that feeling of reality in the metal of the bodywork, but always careful not to fall in a result such as photos. Looking at his paintings you feel the passion hidden behind the portrait subject, he says of his work: "You must feel the cold metal, must seem possible to beat his knuckles on the body and feel the noise ".
In parallel with the car, another subject dear to De Ambroggio are landscapes, those related to his experience, for which, from the technical point of view, after a first approach to watercolor, chose to experiment with the technique of oil painting. Again the goal is to make paintings in which it is easy to find a sense of reality, but without hiding his brushwork to the eyes of the observer.
